So you're interested in the profile of the creator of this website? I will try to give you a short impression.
My name is Ruth Mampuys. Besides work, there are so many things to do, like, enjoy and discover that it makes me wonder why a day only has 24 hours. Unfortunately, one has to make choices. And photography is one of them.
Quite some years ago I started doing a little photography with a borrowed camera. I took photos of just about anything and anyone. I am still experimenting, but have the illusion that I now know better what I do and do not want in front of my camera. I still constantly try to evolve and develop my skills in photography. Band /concert and nature photography have my special interest as a subject.
Music; puts a smile on my face and colors my daily life. Listening to good music and visiting concerts and festivals are a great way to spend some time. Capturing the dynamics of a band in a single photograph is a challenge which takes some effort, but also gives great satisfaction if succeeded. If not; just enjoy the music!
Nature; exploring the world (and capturing it) is another hobby. I hope people can experience my travel photos instead of just looking at a nice image. The hot sand on your feet on an African beach, the smell of the rainforest in Sri Lanka or the cold mist on your face on a boat in New Zealand.
